The activation of this function enables to slow down the electric car to a complete stop without using the brake pedal. One just needs to release the accelerator to let the vehicle automatically start losing its course. The company ascertains that it would be enough in 90% of road situations, and only in the remaining ten the driver should utilize the brake pedal.

The start of sales of the new Nissan Leaf 2 in the domestic market is scheduled for early October at a price of 3,150,360 yen.
