Nevertheless, the participants were allowed to open the hood to get familiar with the bi-turbo 4.4.-liter V8 engine, which is going to add up to 600 horsepower to the already known layout. One should also mention the all-wheel drive, equipped with the all-wheel drive mode xDrive AWD. By the way, for the US market the top-notch sedan will be available with the all-wheel drive as a standard feature, while European can use Drive AWD only as an option.

At the moment xDrive AWD comes only with high-performance crossovers BMW X5 M and X6 M. Audi and Mercedes-Benz already offer full drive for top-notch sedans and estate cars. It will take less than 3.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h from zero. The top speed of the car will be 250-305 kilometers per hour.

The scheduled for 2018 launch the M5 was showcased in the body color of Marina Bay Blue Metallic with Silverstone leather upholstery Merino. 20-inch two-color cast disks boast tires Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

Those who are already familiar with previous generations of the model might notice that the new car has preserved the features of the F10 body. However, the body became 5.5 cm longer. Its total length currently accounts for 491 cm. At first glance, it might seem that such modernization doesn’t matter much. Nevertheless, it enabled the German designers to significantly increase the volume of the trunk. Moreover, the wheelbase acquired 7.5 cm, and it means that the new BMW has become not only longer, but also wider. As for the height of the car, it lost in this regard, although it’s for the better. Due to this design solution, the car’s exterior has become even more sporting and aggressive. In addition, the vehicle has become more stable due to better traction.
